“Hi, my name is Laura Smith, and I am the Chair for Veterans Outreach for the Douglass Campaign; I am also his daughter. I am reaching out to all counties in the district because I have two near-term goals for our campaign:

1. I would like to establish a Veterans Committee. Committee members will advise us on campaign messages and outreach materials, connect us to local veteran communities, and help us gain veteran group endorsements.

2. We are planning a tour across the district around Memorial Day, and we need help finding the right events to attend, organizations to visit, and publications to target for getting our message out at the local level.”
