Belatedly, many Trump voters are returning to rationality. To further that renaissance, we should politely ask questions of our Republican-voting friends and family. We know that personal conversations can lead to change, and these questions should resonate with most any listener, especially when asked without anger or tension, and with understanding and decency.
Reference Christians: “Is there an exception to ‘Thou shalt not kill’ for masked ICE agents? Or when those killed are on boats at sea?”
Reference African Americans: “Why isn’t spreading vile videos placing the heads of any Black Americans on the bodies of chimpanzees considered racist by today’s White House?”
Reference the rich: “Why would elected officials cancel nearly finished infrastructure projects, especially when those projects could ONLY decrease the costs for electricity in a time of high inflation?”
