“Democracy on Tap” Avery Chenoweth on our local Latino Community

Our June monthly “Democracy on Tap” event will feature Avery Chenoweth, author and documentarian, who will talk about the Latino community in Charlottesville. He was executive producer for the new bilingual documentary, “Sometime, Somewhere/Algún día, en algún lugar,” by local (Argentinian-native) director Ricardo Preve. Avery is also a Spanish interpreter for Habitat for Humanity International and a volunteer with Sin Barreras. Sunday, June 9, 3:30pm, at Kardinal Hall.
