July “Democracy on Tap” with former US Attorney Tim Heaphy

On Sunday, July 14, our monthly “Democracy on Tap” co-sponsored with the Albemarle Dems will convene at Kardinal Hall at 3:30pm.
Our guest speaker, Timothy J. Heaphy, is a criminal defense attorney, law professor, and a former United States Attorney for the Western District of Virginia. Tim served as the lead investigator for the House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack. Additionally, he’s one of the founders of The Fountain Fund, whose mission is to create economic opportunities for formerly incarcerated people. He’ll talk about the Jan. 6 insurrection and the ramifications of the recent Supreme Court decisions.
