Learn the Dangers of Project 2025

On Oct. 17 from 7-9pm, Cville Dems is co-sponsoring a virtual National Affairs Committee Policy Forum (with the Fairfax County Democratic Committee) called “How Trump’s Project 2025 Will Hurt YOU!” that will explain the sweeping policy playbook to dismantle our democratic institutions, abolish checks and balances, erode church-state separation, and impose a fascist agenda that violates basic liberties.
“Project 2025” is a far-right manifesto, officially titled “Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise,” produced by the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation and supported by over 100 partner organizations to guide a potential second Trump White House.
To counteract this dystopian plot, the Forum’s panel of nationally eminent experts will examine key policy themes in Trump’s Project 2025 and expose their prospective painful ramifications on American lives. Forum speakers include experts on climate change; tax consequences; the movement toward destroying social security; Medicare and Medicaid; foreign and military policy; and the global threat of fascism.
