CVILLE DEM ACTIVITIES FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION
- WHAT: We will collect toiletries and other personal care items to distribute to those in our community who might need them—things like toilet paper, toothpaste, tampons and shampoo.
- DATE & TIME: 10:00-2:00 on January 18–Martin Luther King Day
- LOCATION: Washington Park. We will set up in the parking lot at the lower level unless it is raining and if that’s the case we will set up under the shelter.
- If someone would like to donate, but cannot make it during that time, we would be happy to arrange another time to drop off items and we also welcome monetary donations which we will use to purchase needed items. Anyone interested in helping, please email us — see below.
- ALTERNATIVE or ADDITIONAL WAY TO HELP: You can make a direct donation to Congregate Cville for their Cville Cares fund, which is used to assist our neighbors with transportation, prescription costs and other necessary items that are not typically covered by other forms of assistance:
