DESCRIPTION:On Oct. 17 from 7-9pm\, Cville Dems is co-sponsoring a virtual National Affairs Committee Policy Forum (with the Fairfax County Democratic Committee) called “How Trump’s Project 2025 Will Hurt YOU!” that will explain the sweeping policy playbook to dismantle our democratic institutions\, abolish checks and balances\, erode church-state separation\, and impose a fascist agenda that violates basic liberties. \n“Project 2025” is a far-right manifesto\, officially titled “Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise\,” produced by the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation and supported by over 100 partner organizations to guide a potential second Trump White House. \nTo counteract this dystopian plot\, the Forum’s panel of nationally eminent experts will examine key policy themes in Trump’s Project 2025 and expose their prospective painful ramifications on American lives.
