I’m running for office because I believe everyone in our community should be able to afford housing in Charlottesville. Each person should be able to get around Charlottesville safely, whether walking, biking, driving, or taking public transit. We need to act on issues of housing and transportation with urgency to meet and exceed our climate goals.
I have a proven track record as a manager in the hospitality industry, where building consensus with a wide variety of people in an emotional and deadline-driven context has prepared me well for public service. I will bring these skills to Council to achieve these goals.
