The City Democratic Committee of Charlottesville exists to further the ideals of the Democratic Party through electing Democrats to local, state and federal office. The party is led by the City Committee which includes an elected Executive Committee, Chairs of each City precinct, and members of each precinct who wish to serve. Local elected officials past and present are ex-officio members of the City Committee. The City Committee is governed by its bylaws.
