COMMUNITY EVENT: Cville Sabroso Festival — September 21

Cville Sabroso 2024 Poster. Cville Dems will have a table there. The day promises nine hours of live music and lively dance performances, food, artisan crafts, and interactive cultural activities for kids. Immerse yourself in the warmth and hospitality of Latino communities at this family-friendly event.

The U.S. Democracy Day collaborative got its start ahead of the midterms in 2022. It launched as an effort to encourage news organizations across the country to report more — and better— information about the crisis facing democracy here.

THE GOAL: DRAW ATTENTION TO THE CRISIS AND HOW INDIVIDUALS CAN RESPOND

Democracy Day is an effort to draw attention to this crisis, provide the public with the context and information they need, and bring all types of people and media together to sound the alarm collectively.

Cville Sabroso Festival — September 21
