“Worth Fighting For” Community Organizing Meeting (Saturday 11/23, 11am)

Healthcare is a Human Right” and “We Demand Democracy”.Indivisible Charlottesville, in cooperation with other local groups, is coordinating a “Worth Fighting For” community organizing meeting in the Downtown Central Library’s Swanson Case Room at 11am on Saturday, Nov. 23 to strategize about the Trump 2.0 Administration. Attendees will:

  • Identify the roles we can all play to defend the people and civil institutions we care about.
  • Build connections with others who are ready to fight for a just and equitable future.
  • Begin forming action plans (building on this guide circulated by Indivisible and other partner organizations after the election).

Clean Air Cville (501c3 pending), which promotes healthier indoor air quality, will provide air filters and optional masks for the meeting.

If you miss early voting you can still cast a ballot at your designated voting location on Election Day 11/5. A Democratic sample ballot on blue paper will be available from the Cville Dems outside the polls on Election Day.

At the meeting we’ll be distributing free Cville Dems mugs. Why? We want to use fewer disposable products at our events— at the polls, during voter registration, “Turn Out the Vote Thursdays” at Ix, etc. Thanks for conserving (and getting Cville Dems more exposure!).

As for clothing… we also have a NEW Sweatshirt/T-shirt with a logo on front and nothing on the back. T-shirts are $10 and sweatshirts $20, bargains bordering on a steal. Get yours right away so you can be a walking billboard for us and Democratic candidates in the leadup to November 5! Thanks to Blue Ridge Graphics for giving us amazing pricing so we can offer them to you so inexpensively.
